Sticky Fingers

Sticky Fingers is a corporate, Rolling Stones cover band based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. While the band does not attempt to look like the Stones, the six experienced musicians on stage consistently reproduce the sound of the greatest Rock n Roll band of all time; whether they be playing the band’s cavalcade of greatest hits or their many ‘B’ side favorites. Sticky Fingers makes the Stones’ catalog come alive with great precision. In Sticky Fingers, the two guitarists handle all the vocals performed by Mick and Keith, as well as all the landmark guitar chops; be they from Brian Jones, Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood or the incredible Keith Richards. Even “Keef’s” Micawber guitar is faithfully reproduced; from the ’52 beat up Telecaster guitar with brass bridge, neck position, vintage-voiced, humbucking pickup (installed backwards) , lap steel bridge pickup, Stratocaster pickup switch tip... ‘Everything‘ is there.

Backed by a solid rhythm section of drums and bass player / third vocalist, the thing that probably most sets Sticky Fingers apart from many other Stones tribute bands is the presence of a keyboardist and saxophonist / recordist / percussionist / 4th vocalist in the band. This configuration allows Sticky Fingers to ‘nail’ many Stones favorites that other bands simply can’t play because they don’t have the instrumentation to ‘pull it off’ ! Montreal’s most popular Stones cover bands do not perform fan favorites like the sultry Can’t You Hear Me Knocking or Fool To Cry or Ruby Tuesday or Sweet Virginia. While they might play Brown Sugar or Honky Tonk Women, the very prominent saxophone parts are missing. Give Sticky Fingers a call for your next corporate event. The music will be exactly like you remember it from all those great records and the dance floor will be full.
